Notably, Mrs. Shruti Shah, founder and CEO of Sacred Weaves, was one of the four entrepreneurs who was invited to the inauguration ceremony.

The official inauguration ceremony of Meta also saw the presence of big names including the honorable minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar – Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Electronics and Information Technology of India, Sandeep Bhushan – Director Meta Business Group India and the VP & MD of Meta India Ajit Mohan.

Mrs. Shruti Shah, one of the modern-day pioneers of handloom Banarasi sarees in India and the voice of sacred weaves launched the online platform to ensure that the rich fabric is available online and accessible to everyone. The ecommerce platform is not only a place for luxurious purchases but also the fulfilment of grace through the six yards of joy. Shruti adds “I was fortunate to showcase the Sacred Weaves Brand and the rich indian heritage which is re-growing the love for Banarasi sarees among women across the country as well as internationally. Our Banarasi sarees are loved and cherished among women across the world, but more so in India. Of course, the weave has a rich heritage and history associated with it, which makes it even more fascinating to wear even in this modern age.”
