Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], July 14:  enGen Global, an Integrated Healthcare Global Capability Centre, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, enGen Serve, today announced a significant contribution of critical medical equipment to Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital. This donation includes a Non-Invasive Ventilator and Pulse Oximeters—essential tools that will strengthen the hospital’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and enhance its ability to deliver advanced, lifesaving care to children and mothers.

Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital, a unit of The CHILDS Trust, is a renowned not-for-profit institution and one of India’s leading tertiary care pediatric hospitals. For over four decades, it has been dedicated to delivering comprehensive healthcare services for children from birth to 21 years of age, alongside specialized obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) services for women. The hospital is distinguished by its integrated care model, treating mothers and children under one roof with seamless access to critical medical support.

“We are immensely grateful to enGen Global for their generous donation of a Non-Invasive Ventilator and Pulse Oximeters,” said Dr. Janani Sankar, the Medical Director of the Hospital. “These state-of-the-art instruments will significantly strengthen our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, enabling us to provide more advanced and timely care to our young patients. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to improving healthcare outcomes for vulnerable communities,” he added.

The 200-bed hospital is accredited with ISO 9001:2015 for its Quality Management System and holds full NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) accreditation. Its services are further supported by a 24×7 NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accredited laboratory and comprehensive diagnostic capabilities, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

“At enGen Global, we are deeply committed to giving back through enGen Serve, focused on creating meaningful and sustainable community outcomes,” said Arvind Srinivasan, CFO & Head of enGen Serve at enGen Global. “This contribution to Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital reflects our ongoing efforts to support access to quality healthcare for children and mothers. We are proud to partner with an institution that exemplifies excellence and compassionate care,” he added further.

“This initiative through enGen Serve extends well beyond the provision of equipment—it reflects our commitment to advancing hope, healing, and improved health outcomes for children,” said Manoj Kapoor, President & CEO of enGen Global. “Knowing that these efforts can help save lives and provide comfort to families is profoundly meaningful. Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital’s dedication to delivering compassionate, integrated care for both mothers and children is truly commendable. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute and to partner with an institution that is making a significant and lasting impact on young lives,” he added.

The Non-Invasive Ventilator will provide critical respiratory support to pediatric patients without the need for invasive procedures, while the Pulse Oximeters will enable continuous and accurate monitoring of oxygen saturation levels—both vital in managing critical conditions within the PICU. This initiative, driven by enGen Global, underscores the organization’s commitment to advancing healthcare access and delivering lasting positive impact across communities in India.
