Mumbai, October 16: Consumer Electricals major Crompton Greaves reported a strong, 18.4% year on year (YoY) growth in revenue from operations for Q2 FY27, reaching ₹1,932 crore. Along with this, the company’s profit after tax (PAT) has also risen to ₹110 crore, a 57% YoY rise from ₹70 crore witnessed during the same time last year.

This strong performance has come as the company has witnessed double digit sales expansion across key categories, including pumps, kitchen appliances, water heaters and solar rooftop installations. This represents the highest quarterly growth in the last nine quarters, backed by an improved product portfolio under its new refreshed ‘Crompton’ brand.

“The new categories in this segment continue to gain early traction. Lighting business, growing at 14.3% YoY, continues its healthy double-digit growth trajectory with sustainable profit margin. Butterfly, with 13.1% YoY growth, continued its momentum with robust performance across key categories.

This performance demonstrates the impact of the transformative initiatives undertaken as part of Crompton 2.0 strategy. Our focused investments in brand building, consumer-centric innovation and successful turnaround of Lighting and Butterfly businesses have strengthened our growth engines, which are now beginning to progressively yield results. During the quarter, we have unveiled a refreshed brand identity for Crompton, renewing our 85 year-old legacy and beginning a bold new chapter.

We remain committed to investing in brand “Crompton”, accelerating consumer-led innovation while moving towards sustainable and profitable growth.”, Promeet Ghosh, MD & CEO, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited, said in a regulatory filing.
