The multi-speciality healthcare startup is dedicated to assisting patients right from initial consultations to discharges and follow-ups

December 8: Uphealth, a multi-specialty healthcare service provider, relieves patients from reaching out to multiple experts and undertaking tedious procedures by offering them end-to-end healthcare services. The startup aims at providing patient-centric and cost-effective services that cover every stage of a patient’s journey as they obtain medical care.

Uphealth is launched with the intention of organizing the healthcare sector within the country. The platform provides a range of services to the patients under a single umbrella. With a network of 100+ experienced doctors and 50+ hospitals, Uphealth ensures that the quality of consultancy, diagnosis and treatment provided to the patients is never compromised. Currently operational in New Delhi and Bangalore, the venture provides the latest and the most advanced treatments to patients, including laparoscopy, gynecology, proctology, urology, oncology, and laser treatments.

Uphealth makes sure that the patients are diagnosed by the most suitable doctors and admitted to hospitals that follow all COVID protocols. All one needs to do is visit the company’s website and book an appointment by adding relevant details. Based on the location of the patient and their medical condition, they would be immediately assisted to get diagnosed by an ideal healthcare expert in an ideal hospital.

The company shoulders the responsibility of handling the entire journey of a patient – from initial consultation to final discharge. Moreover, Uphealth arranges for free pick-up and drop services for patients to prevent any unnecessary commuting delays. Once the patient reaches the hospital, the company would look after their appointments with the diagnostic centers, the tests to be done, the documentation to be carried out, insurance (if needed), pre-booking of OT (operation theater) slots, and all other processes that a patient and their family need to undertake while obtaining quality medical assistance.

Moreover, once a patient is discharged, Uphealth facilitates a follow-up consultation for free. In addition to its services, the company provides extensive and cost-effective healthcare services to women on a priority basis. This way, the startup manages to provide holistic and wholesome medical support to patients in a hassle-free manner.

The founders at Uphealth include Vaibhav Sinha, a 25-year-old entrepreneur experienced in the field of marketing and operations, and Dr. Raj Kumar, a senior orthopedic surgeon. Vaibhav believes that their new venture would help stabilize the otherwise disorganized healthcare sector in the country. He says, “Despite having highly qualified and dedicated medical experts, the healthcare sector in the country is pretty fragmented and unorganized. With Uphealth, we are willing to put the patients at the center stage of all our services, tailoring the support provided to them based on their needs and preferences. We have always believed that the dignity of a patient is of the utmost importance. We sincerely hope that our services help more and more patients to walk out of the hospitals with smiles on their faces!”
