    AIIEA REPRESENTATION TO DGFT

    Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 15: M/s. All India Importers’ Exporters’ Association (AIIEA) has represented to the Director-General of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, on 08.10.2021,  to consider the grievance of various stakeholders with respect to difficulties being faced due to erroneous  imposition of Actual user conditions/ Value cap restrictions on various inputs covered by several Standard Inputoutput Norms ( SION’s)  of Food Products, under which import authorizations are issued as per Provision of Para 4.27 (i) of Foreign Trade Policy- (2015-20).

    A few of other associations with the likes of All India Food Processors Association  New Delhi, vide letter dated 15.02.2018  & All India Biscuits Manufacturers Association, New Delhi vide their representations dated 18.12.2017, 10.01.2018 & 26.07.2021 & Food Ingredients Importers/Exporters Welfare Association vide letter dated 19.07.2017  has also represented identical cases with  the DGFT, New Delhi in the past, in respect of erroneous issuance of Public Notice No. 41/2015-20 dated 02.11.2016, contrary to the provision of Para 4.25 of Hand Book of Procedures- (2015-20).   The Association is hopeful  that the DGFT would consider the said representation dated 08.10.2021 with all its sincerity and may take a favourable decision in an expeditious manner at the earliest in the interest of the trade and public at large.
