New Delhi, October 30: Leading agricultural equipment manufacturer Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) has announced plans to implement a price increase across its tractor range after Diwali due to sustained cost inflation across raw materials, manufacturing operations and global logistics. EKL has witnessed compressed profit margins across the product portfolio, and it is aiming to revise prices across the Kubota, FarmTrac and PowerTrac Tractor range in November 2026 after Diwali.
Over the past several months, EKL has implemented a series of measures to optimize its operations and costs to mitigate the rising costs. Even after doing that, it has absorbed a substantial portion of the elevated costs and the price rise has become necessary to mitigate the higher manufacturing and operating expenses.
“We have made every effort to minimize the impact of rising input costs on our customers. This measured revision enables us to sustain our commitment to quality, innovation and customer value. We remain focused on delivering reliable, technology-led solutions through our Farmtrac, Powertrac and Kubota brands to support the productivity and profitability of Indian farmers.” Manish Sharma, President – Agri Business, Escorts Kubota Limited, said in a press release.
EKL has continued to expand its tractor offerings through launches like the FarmTrac PROMAXX series, Powertrac Shaurya series and its expanded Digitrac range, along with the Kubota NeoStar and MU series. The company is continuing to focus on providing its customers with a wider choice of reliable, application-specific tractors suited for wider agricultural needs.
