New Delhi, September 23: India’s beauty landscape is seeing a growing shift towards D2C, experience-led beauty brands that are creating products around real consumer needs rather than one-size-fits-all solutions. Entering this space is Svérve Beauty, a new-age beauty brand founded by makeup artist Sukanya Manerikar, bringing her years of experience working with diverse skin types into everyday beauty formulations.

Built on the belief that beauty should work with the skin, not against it, Svérve Beauty focuses on creating practical, comfortable, and skin-conscious products suited to Indian skin and weather conditions. The brand aims to bridge the gap between professional beauty expertise and products that consumers can seamlessly incorporate into their daily routines.

Leading its launch portfolio is Skinthesis SPF 50 PA++++, a lightweight sunscreen formulated with Niacinamide, Tranexamic Acid, Centella Asiatica, Licorice Root and Ectoin. Designed for everyday use, the multi-benefit formula goes beyond sun protection to offer hydration, barrier support and a smooth base for makeup, making it an easy addition to daily beauty routines. The formula is also designed to address common sunscreen concerns such as heaviness, greasiness, eye irritation and visible white cast, delivering comfortable, effortless wear throughout the day.

“As a makeup artist, I have worked with different skin types and have seen first-hand how products can behave very differently depending on the skin, climate and routine. Svérve Beauty was born from those real experiences. We aim to create products that are thoughtful, comfortable and genuinely relevant to the way Indian consumers experience beauty,” said Sukanya Manerikar, Founder, Svérve Beauty.

Svérve Beauty is taking a D2C-first approach, allowing the brand to build a direct relationship with its consumers and understand their evolving beauty needs. The brand’s digital ecosystem also includes a skin quiz and personalised product recommendations, reflecting growing demand for more informed, individualised beauty discovery.

With Indian consumers becoming increasingly ingredient-aware and selective about what they put on their skin, Svérve Beauty aims to build a portfolio that combines functionality, comfort and professional beauty expertise. Rather than following fleeting trends, the brand is looking to create solutions rooted in everyday concerns — from India’s climate and diverse skin tones to product texture and ease of use.

Currently available online, Svérve Beauty marks its entry into India’s evolving independent beauty ecosystem with a vision to build a modern, accessible, and experience-led D2C beauty brand for Indian consumers.
