Over 750 young champions participated in a morning filled with fitness, fun, and community spirit

Pune (Maharashtra) [India], March 24: Joyville Shapoorji Housing, an aspirational housing platform by Shapoorji Pallonji, Actis, ADB, and IFC, successfully hosted the second edition of its much-loved kids’ marathon — Joy Run Junior 2.0 — at SP Kingstown, Hadapsar Annexe, Pune.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 750 children aged 7 to 13, turning the morning into a lively celebration of energy, fitness, and joy. Kicking off at 6:00 AM, young runners took to the track with excitement – some racing competitively, while others ran with pure joy and enthusiasm.

The event was designed to promote healthy living and active lifestyles among children, while also creating a platform for community engagement.

Extending the experience beyond the run, the event transitioned into a vibrant Kids Carnival, offering engaging activities such as mascot interactions, balloon shooting, tattoo art, trampolines, and jumping zones, creating a wholesome and memorable day for children and their families.

All participants were felicitated with medals and certificates, while winners across categories were awarded in recognition of their performance and enthusiasm.

Parents and attendees appreciated the seamless execution of the event and the thoughtfully curated experiences, with many taking the opportunity to explore the lifestyle and amenities offered at SP Kingstown.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms Rima Kirtikar, Chief Marketing Officer of Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate, said, “Joy Run Junior 2.0 reflects our commitment to building communities that encourage active lifestyles and meaningful engagement. It was inspiring to see such enthusiastic participation from young runners and to receive strong support from their parents. At Joyville, we aim to create not just homes, but holistic environments that nurture well-being and connection.”

The success of Joy Run Junior 2.0 reinforces Joyville’s vision of creating vibrant, inclusive communities, where experiences go beyond everyday living and bring people together.
