New Delhi [India], August 11: Contemporary artist Nikita presents her solo exhibition, Alchemy of Colors, at the Main Art Gallery, Bikaner House, from 19 to 23 August 2026. The exhibition brings together a vibrant body of work that celebrates the transformative power of colour, inviting viewers to experience art as a language of emotion, hope, and human connection.

Known for her expressive palette and distinctive palette-knife technique, Nikita creates paintings that transcend representation, transforming colour into a powerful medium of storytelling. Her works draw inspiration from nature, travel, personal experiences, and the ever-changing rhythms of life, resulting in compositions that are layered with movement, texture, and depth. Each canvas becomes an exploration of memory, resilience, and the quiet beauty found in everyday moments.

Alchemy of Colors reflects the artist’s belief that colours possess the ability to heal, inspire, and transform. Through bold compositions and luminous surfaces, the exhibition encourages viewers to pause, reflect, and discover their own emotional narratives within the paintings. Rather than depicting reality, the works evoke feelings, creating immersive visual experiences that resonate long after one leaves the gallery.

Beyond its artistic vision, the exhibition is driven by a meaningful social purpose. Nikita has committed the proceeds from the exhibition towards the education and welfare of underprivileged girls, reinforcing her belief that art can be a powerful force for positive social change. Through this initiative, every artwork becomes not only an expression of creativity but also a contribution towards creating educational opportunities and empowering future generations.

Nikita has steadily established herself as a distinctive voice in contemporary Indian art. Her works have been recognised on prestigious national and international platforms, including being featured in Forbes India – Hidden Talents. She has also been selected by the Bombay Art Society, while her artistic practice has received appreciation for its expressive language, vibrant colour palette, and evolving visual vocabulary. Her exhibitions and projects continue to engage collectors and audiences across India and abroad.

With Alchemy of Colors, Nikita invites collectors, art enthusiasts, designers, architects, and the wider public to experience an exhibition where colour becomes a transformative force—one that celebrates creativity while contributing to a meaningful social cause.
