Nagpur, November 02: MMP Industries Limited, a leading aluminum products manufacturer, has reported a 73% year-on-year increase in its profit after tax (PAT) for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026. This has come despite its EBITDA margins dropping 136 basis points due to fluctuating metal prices and inventory-related valuation losses.
The company’s overall revenues grew 34% for the quarter, reaching Rs.25.2 crore, as it worked to enhance operational efficiencies alongside strong export growth.
The Nagpur-based company has seen strong demand for its aluminum powders and high-grade foils, while its aluminum conductors witnessed a revenue decline.
“The Company achieved its highest-ever quarterly and half-yearly Total Income of ₹2,529 Mn and ₹4,857 Mn, respectively, registering strong YoY growth of 34% in Q2FY27 and 31% in H1FY27. Growth was primarily driven by improved plant utilisation and robust export performance during the quarter.
EBITDA grew by 44% YoY to ₹193 Mn in Q2FY27, with EBITDA margin improving by 53 bps to 7.65%, compared to 7.12% in Q2FY26. Profit After Tax increased by 73% YoY to ₹121 Mn, reflecting improved operating performance and profitability.
The improvement in EBITDA margin was achieved despite fluctuating metal prices and inventory valuation related losses, higher consumable costs and a combined EBITDA loss of ₹15 Mn incurred by the Company’s wholly owned subsidiaries, MMP Electricals Private Limited and MMP Cables Private Limited which are in the initial stages of operations. However, on a sequential basis, EBITDA margin moderated from 9.01% in Q1FY27 to 7.65% in Q2FY27, primarily due to inventory valuation related losses,” The company said in a regulatory filing to the NSE.
