Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], August 10: More than 150 student researchers from 13 schools, including participants from a school in Dubai, came together at Neerja Modi School for Mathelogics – Edition 4, an inter-school mathematics research workshop focused on the growing role of mathematics in emerging technologies.

The workshop provided a platform for students to present research projects and explore applications of mathematics in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Data Science, Cryptography and Computational Thinking. Through presentations, discussions and collaborative activities, participants showcased how mathematical concepts are being used to solve real-world challenges.

Students from different schools interacted with one another, exchanged ideas and demonstrated research-based learning, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. The event aimed to encourage curiosity and help students understand the practical applications of mathematics beyond the classroom.

School authorities said that Mathelogics has been introduced as an annual initiative to promote research culture among school students and to expose them to interdisciplinary learning at an early stage. The workshop concluded with an award ceremony recognising the best research presentations and innovative projects submitted by participating teams.

Over the years, Neerja Modi School has organised several academic programmes that encourage experiential learning, innovation and global exposure for students. The institution has also received recognition from various national and international organisations for its contribution to school education.

Among its recent recognitions are the Asia’s Best Educational Institution 2024 award by the Asia Pacific HRM Congress, the Youth Ideathon Principal Award 2024 presented at IIT Delhi, the India School Merit Award 2024 by Education Today, the Certificate of Progressive Reading School 2024 by Primary Plus and the Outstanding School of the Year 2024 award by The Academic Insights.

Earlier, the school was honoured with the School of Eminence Award (2021–22) by EducationWorld, the Most Preferred Workplace Award (2022) by Team Marksmen India and the Global Innovative Schools Award (2018) presented by BITS Pilani Dubai.

With initiatives such as Mathelogics, the school continues to focus on creating opportunities for students to engage in research, innovation and collaborative learning while strengthening their understanding of mathematics and its applications in future technologies.
