    Physics Wallah Received ‘Rising EdTech Startup of India’: ZEE Rise Startup to Unicorn 2021

    Alakh Pandey, Founder, and CEO of Physics Wallah felicitated by Honorable Minister of Commerce & Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal at the Zee Rise Startup to Unicorn Conclave held in New Delhi

    November 30: Alakh Pandey, an education reformer striving to bring revolution by providing affordable and accessible quality education to masses conferred with ‘Rising EdTech Startup of India’ in Rise Startup to Unicorn Conclave 2021’ organized by Zee Media Group.

    Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnav, Minister of Transport & Highway Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Agriculture Narendra Tomar, MoS Parliamentary Affairs and Culture Arjun Meghwal, Member of Parliament Uttarakhand Anil Baluni graced the event.

    Some of the other growth-stage startups like KOO (India’s social networking platform), Euler Motors (EV Startup), Moglix (B2B eCommerce shopping store), and Innov8 (India’s largest Co-working space provider) were also present.

    Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry, congratulated the nation’s rising startups and recognized their contribution to economic growth and said today’s digital world through broadband penetration all over the nation makes it easy to connect with startup ecosystems. Government of India has established the Startup Advisory Council to help startups in remote regions take advantage of government policies for their startup.

    Alakh Pandey, Founder and CEO of Physics Wallah said during the event, “”Physics Wallah started as a youtube channel in 2016 however launched its mobile app platform in 2020 PW (App Link – http://bit.ly/3ru9Agh ) since then, a considerable growth has been witnessed in EdTech because students and parents have accepted the importance of online education. During the Covid Crisis, we at Physics Wallah provided affordable courses and study materials for students to prepare for NEET & JEE exams in an effort to help them thrive. As a result, every 1 student out of 6 from Physics Wallah appeared in NEET 2021.
